Newcastle United are interested in Lazio fullback Stefan Radu.
The Evening Chronicle says Toon have expressed an interest in Radu.
Highly-rated Radu has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United this summer but Newcastle are ready to make an £8million move - according to reports from Sky Italia.
They will be battling Fiorentina for the Romania defender, with the Serie A side having also made contact with the defender's agent.
