Newcastle United are moving for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

The Evening Chronicle says several Premier League sides are keeping tabs on the talented England Under-21 international, who is Villa's prize asset, as the summer transfer window hots up.

Grealish would stay at Villa in an ideal world but the club's failure to get promoted and their Financial Fair Play concerns means he is likely to leave ahead of next season.

Senior figures are all but resigned to losing the 22-year-old who has been at the club since he was six.
