“I pretended to be Patrick Vieira when I was playing football at school. I played in the same midfield position and now I’m a similar size to him.
“He was someone I looked up to as a kid. Vieira was a great player and was an inspiration.
“I want to keep on improving and do as well as I can. With the World Cup in mind, I want to make sure I am in the France squad at the end of the season and hopefully travel to Brazil.
“Playing in the World Cup is a huge ambition for any footballer and I am no different.”
