Newcastle United midfielder Remy Cabella admits the pace of the Premier League has taken him aback.
Cabella concedes he's still adjusting to the demands.
"This is a new challenge in a new league, so, inevitably, there is an adjustment period," he told L'Equipe.
"The pace and intensity surprised me. For ninety minutes, its attack, its defence and the referee does not whistle a lot.
"I need to get better. This is normal. This is new.
"Even after forty-five minutes, you're dead!
"I have not had the preseason others have had."
