Newcastle United midfielder Vurnon Anita is confident of adjusting to the demands of the Premier League.

Despite United's 1-0 loss to West Ham, the Holland international hopes there are brighter days ahead.

Speaking on his adjustment period from the Dutch League to the Premier League, he told the Evening Chronicle: "It is very different.

"The play goes up and down, up and down.

"It is different and you feel it in your legs - you become tired more quickly than in Holland."
