Newcastle midfielder Dan Gosling has admitted a Football Association misconduct charge in relation to betting rules, reports BBC Sport.

Newcastle midfielder Dan Gosling has admitted a Football Association misconduct charge in relation to betting rules, reports BBC Sport.

The FA says the charge concerns "multiple breaches" and that the 24 year old has requested a personal hearing to answer his case.

Gosling is back with Newcastle after having a loan spell with Championship Blackpool earlier in the season.
