Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has explained his celebrations after netting the winner against Wigan Athletic.

The French ace tore straight towards Toon masseur Micky Holland to celebrate.

He said: "Before every game he has told me I'm going to score and I haven't. When I arrived on Saturday I told him 'Don't say anything'. I said 'Don't tell me I'm going to score. Just say nothing to me, don't talk to me before the game, we'll talk afterwards'.

"And look what happened. He kept quiet and I scored.

"I got a few like that for Lille, I always fancy my chance of scoring because I like to shoot.

"It was an important goal for the team, we're getting used to looking at the table and seeing ourselves in fourth place."
