Newcastle United have matched West Brom's £1.5 million offer for Crystal Palace whizkid Victor Moses.

The Times says Palace, who are in administration, are hoping to raise more for the 19-year-old, who has attracted interest from Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Manchester City.

West Ham United have offered an initial £500,000 rising to about £2 million, but the deal is less attractive to Palace because they require significant funds this month.
