Newcastle United's managerial search could continue into next month.
The Daily Mail says Chris Hughton has been told he could be caretaker manager at Newcastle for a further three weeks.
The former Tottenham No 2 has privately admitted he is uncomfortable with the pressure he will face on Saturday as Tyneside braces itself for a day of anti-boardroom marches and protest.
But with Dennis Wise and Tony Jiminez widening their net as they search for a successor to Kevin Keegan, the temporary management team of Hughton, Richard Money and Alan Thompson have been warned they may still be in charge next month.
