Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew was delighted with Jonas Gutierrez's goal scoring performance in victory at Wolves.
It was Jonas' first game since inking a new contract with Newcastle.
"Hopefully, there's many more goals to come from Jonas over the course of his new contract," Pardew told the Evening Chronicle. "It was a great start for him under that new deal, and it was a really super goal."
The Argentine put in a fine shift against Wolves and his goal was part of a hard working display which left Pardew beaming.
He said: "He's had to dig in - he won headers in the box. He does all the stuff a lot of wide players don't do."
