Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez says it is unlikely Chancel Mbemba will leave the club this month.
The centre-back has been linked with West Ham United, Celtic and Anderlecht.
But the Magpies inability to bring any new players in may block the 23-year-old.
"At the moment, apart from [Jamie] Sterry and [Jack] Colback, the others are players that maybe we will need."
