Rafa Benitez wasn't too bothered about Dwight Gayle's penalty miss or the draw with Royal Antwerp in their friendly clash on Sunday.
Gayle had his penalty saved during the 135-minute practice match, that took place in Spain.
But Benitez believes the Magpies got they wanted out of the match and that's all the really mattered.
"I said to Dwight that these things happen sometimes, especially in a friendly, because you can be a little bit more relaxed," said Benitez.
"It doesn't change too much in terms of what we were looking for.
"We had the intensity that we wanted in this game."
