Newcastle United U21 coach Willie Donachie has challenged Jonathyn Quinn to make a career for himself.
The young striker hit a hat-trick in defeat to Aston Villa this week.
Donachie told nufc.co.uk: "Quinny's a good player. He's at that stage where he's got to really, really show a lot of passion and hard work to bridge the hardest hurdle: from Reserves to first-team.
"But if he really keeps working hard, he's got a chance."
