Newcastle United have made a final bid for Watford defender Adrian Mariappa.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew has confirmed that the most recent offer for the 25-year old centre-back will be the last one and if the Hornets turn this down then Newcastle will drop their pursuit.
"We have made our last bid now and it's a final bid so if he doesn't come today then he probably won't come to this football club because in the summer we will probably look elsewhere," said Pardew.
