Lyon owner and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that the club has received an enquiry from Newcastle United for Bafetimbi Gomis.
The 27-year old striker has received interest from a couple of Premier League clubs but the Magpies are the first to show an official curiosity.
"There is an interest of Newcastle for Gomis. We wait from them to come to us with an offer," Aulas told Canal+.
