Birmingham midfielder Sebastian Larsson is being targeted by Newcastle boss Alan Pardew as he looks to acquire a playmaker for his forwards. The 25 year old is out of contract with the Blues at the end of the season and despite ongoing talks looks set to leave at the end of the season.
Pardew had on Thursday that the club had made enquiries over an unnamed player and were awaiting a response from the club.
