Scottish club St Mirren have signed Paul Dummett on loan from Newcastle United.
The 20-year old left-back has joined the Buddies until January following his short-term spell with Blue Square Premier League side Gateshead last season.
St Mirren manager Danny Lennon said he was thrilled to have secured Dummett, who has represented the Wales U21 team, for a few months.
"I first came across him a year ago but I got a call yesterday afternoon which reignited interest. It works well for both parties and I am delighted," he said.
