FC Twente ace Luuk de Jong has rejected an advance from Italian club Fiorentina.
The 21-year old Holland international, who has been linked with the likes of Newcastle United and Liverpool recently, has decided to turned down the offer from the Viola in order to remain in his homeland according to his father George.
"Luuk discussed the prospect of a transfer with Fiorentina. He has decided not to follow it up and will stay with FC Twente," he posted on Twitter.
