El Confidencial says Real coach Zinedine Zidane is happy to see the goalkeeper sold so he can promote son Lucas. The France U21 keeper would become Real's outright No2 behind Keylor Navas.

A return to Espanyol has been mooted for Casilla, however he could also be on the move to England.

A reunion with Rafa Benitez at Newcastle United could be on. Benitez worked with Casilla as Real coach and is a fan of the shot-stopper. The Toon manager is also in the market for a keeper signing.
