Newcastle United legend Malcolm Macdonald has slammed the club's transfer policy.

Supermac is just one of many who have voiced their disgust at how the club is being run.

He said: "We all knew Cabaye was going and yet there was nothing done in terms of replacing him. It is an absolute scandal.

"If Mike Ashley was to sell all his football boots at his Sports Direct business, wouldn't he replace them with new stock?"
