Newcastle legend Solano back in Northeast for coaching badges
Newcastle United legend Nobby Solano is doing his coaching badges in the Northeast.
The Daily Mail says Solano has joined Newcastle... not United, but Newcastle Benfield after agreeing to become the Northern League sides new first-team coach.
The ex-Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Ham winger, 37, rejected the chance to join South Shields and will continue to study his coaching badges at the North East club.
Solano leaves Hartlepool United and will no doubt be regaling the Benfield players with his trumpet-playing skills in the coming weeks.
