Alan Shearer has had a pop at Derby County after they appointed Steve McClaren as their manager…again.
The Rams sacked McClaren less than 18 months after he failed to get them into the Premier League over the course of two seasons but he is now back in charge at the iPro Stadium.
The former England boss went on to manage Newcastle United, who sacked him for leading the club into a relegation position, leading Magpies great Shearer to believe that perhaps this isn't the greatest appointment by Derby.
Club 1 sacked for not getting promoted. Club 2 sacked as getting relegated. Club 1 re-hire sacked manager. Really?! Only in football. #dcfc
