Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer says Mario Balotelli's antics are sending Manchester City into meltdown.

Shearer wrote in The Sun: "Manchester City are starting to crack.

"Balotelli's behaviour on Saturday was a disgrace.

"He had spent the whole afternoon wrapped up in his own personal soap opera.

"'Why always me' he asked on that infamous T-shirt. 'Why does it always have to be about you?', I would ask.

"At a time when City need everyone pulling in the same direction, he acted like a selfish spoilt brat."
