Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer says losing Loic Remy will be a big blow.

Remy will return to QPR at the end of the season.

Shearer told the Evening Chronicle: "The Remy situation will be interesting.

"Newcastle are not the same team without him. They cannot score goals.

"They will have to look at that situation, but whether he stays or goes we do not know.

"I don't think anybody knows."
