Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer says Arsene Wenger is struggling to halt Arsenal's slide.
Shearer wrote in The Sun: "Wenger looks like a man who has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
"He has delivered 15 consecutive seasons in the Champions League and tomorrow night faces Bayern Munich in the first leg of a last 16 tie.
"That is a level of consistency to be envied by the majority.
"But that seems to be the mark now for Arsenal.
"While Manchester United raise their own bar and demand silverware, Arsenal try to convince their fans that Champions League qualification is a mark of success.
"I am sure it is not enough for Wenger or his players.
"But in truth his team, or rather his squad, is only good enough for that and nobody will be surprised to see them convincingly beaten over two matches by Bayern."
