Newcastle legend Ginola: Too many foreigners in Premier League

Newcastle United legend David Ginola says there's too many foreigners in the Premier League.

Arsenal's £42.5million Mesut Ozil and Tottenham's £30m Erik Lamela are among the latest wave of foreign superstars to arrive in the country.

But Ginola said: "You should have at last seven or eight English players in a team and stick to the same rules from the 1990s when clubs were allowed only three foreign players.

"That way when you win something with eight English players you are proud. If you win something with 11 foreigners I don't see the point."
