Newcastle United legend David Ginola was surprised by Yohan Cabaye's antics when he was pushing for a move to Arsenal.
Cabaye downed tools in the opening weeks of the season as he attempted to land a move to Arsenal.
Ginola told the Evening Chronicle: "I didn't understand the situation.
"For me he has always been a fantastic professional.
"Not just on the pitch but as a person.
"He's a guy that usually respects the game and respects his club and the players.
"I didn't understand what happened there."
