Newcastle United legend Tino Asprilla believes they're capable of winning the Europa League.

The Toon are into the quarterfinals of this season's competition.

Asprilla told the Evening Chronicle: "I believe they can make it to the final of the Europa League.

"I think there is enough quality in the team to stay in the Premier League. With the changes they've had in the team from January, it's affected the team a bit as well.

"But next season when they adapt to the style it will be a different story.

"We had a great team, but I think this side can also be successful."
