Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has welcomed reports of a bid from Heerenveen for his services.

"This is a club that offered the most to me," he told the Dutch media about Heerenveen. "So that already gives me a special feeling.

"If Feyenoord make an offer, I am always open to a beautiful adventure in the south of Rotterdam.

"But we are as good as there [with Heerenveen]."
