Newcastle keeper Tim Krul has handed the club a fitness boost after confirming he has not suffered a serious injury. The Dutchman sustained a hamstring problem at the tail end of Sunday's victory over Norwich.

Krul said on Twitter: "Just had result back of the MRI scan.. All clear.. Already looking forward."
