Newcastle keeper Tim Krul has handed the club a fitness boost after confirming he has not suffered a serious injury.
The Dutchman sustained a hamstring problem at the tail end of Sunday's victory over Norwich.
But the 23-year-old will now hopes to take his place in boss Alan Pardew's line-up at West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
Krul said on Twitter: "Just had result back of the MRI scan.. All clear.. Already looking forward."
