Newcastle United's Tim Krul is hoping to become Holland first-choice keeper after Sunday's man-of-the-match display at Tottenham. Krul aims to impress once again in the games against Japan in Genk on Friday night, and Colombia in Amsterdam on Tuesday.
"I've got a lot of confidence turning up for the internationals," he told the Evening Chronicle.
"I'm looking forward to meeting up with them. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play."
The 25-year-old is confident he will represent his country in next year's World Cup in Brazil, the country he made his full international debut against in June 2011.
Krul added: "I made my debut in Brazil and hopefully, I'll travel and get a chance to play."
