Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has paid tribute to Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew.
Krul admits Pardew gave him his chance at Newcastle.
"I liked playing for him. He gave me the number one spot and during his four years I became the goalie I am now," he said.
"He had an impact on me and my career. But his time here was massively up and down. There were a lot of negatives and a lot of positives and it would be nice to get one over on him on Wednesday night."
