Newcastle keeper Krul dismisses Chelsea link

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has dismissed talk of a move to Chelsea.

"This is my club and I want to stay," he told the Evening Chronicle. "You never know what can happen. Things can change in one day or in three years' time.

"All I know is I love Newcastle and I love England. There's been a lot of speculation and a lot of stories. But it's just talk."

The Holland Under-21 international spent part of last season on-loan at Falkirk, and having enjoyed the experience would not rule out a similar move this term.

"Going out on loan makes you a better player. It doesn't matter where you go.

"I just hope to get my chance and prove myself to the manager.

"We will see what happens in the next few weeks."
