Newcastle United goalkeeper Steve Harper has laughed off the prospect of writing a book about his life at the club.

"It's not something I'd do and it would be longer than Lord Of The Rings," he joked. "I don't think I could afford the legal fees. I'd be in court for the rest of my life."
