Steve Harper says Kevin Keegan has made a "massive impact" upon his return to Newcastle United.

"He has made a massive impact," the goalkeeper told the Evening Chronicle. "We couldn't have been any lower when he came in.

"He's lit the place up.

"We just hope he receives the backing to bring in the players to get us into the top half of the league."
