Newcastle United goalkeeper Fraser Forster admits he will struggle to accept playing second or third choice to Steve Harper next season.
Forster has helped Norwich City win promotion from League One this season.
"It's very difficult," he told The Journal. "It will be very hard for me next season after playing so many games this season at a big club like Norwich.
"To go back next season and not be involved will be very hard so really I want to be playing more games next season one way or the other."
With that in mind, he is considering asking manager Chris Hughton to be sent out on loan again rather than return to reserve-team football.
"Yeah, we'll have to see what happens in the summer," he said. "It's important for me to be playing games, but Harps is not going to let me in very easily. It's always good competition.
"I still train at Newcastle quite a bit. If I don't have a midweek game with Norwich I train Monday, Tuesday with Newcastle.
"It lets the rest of the lads and the coaches keep an eye on me, so that's brilliant."
