Newcastle keeper and England U20 hero Woodman admits future's in doubt

England Under 20 goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has revealed he is unsure where his future lies.

The Newcastle United shot stopper became a hero for his country on Sunday night after his second-half penalty save secured England their first world championship since 1966.

The 20-year old spent last season on loan with Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock, and he admits he does not know what next season has in store for him.

"I am not sure what will happen at Newcastle," Woodman told the Daily Telegraph.

"I am just waiting for them to tell me when I am back in pre-season. I am a Newcastle player and my goal is to play for Newcastle one day."
