Newcastle United are scouting Leicester City youngster Jeffrey Schlupp.

The Evening Chronicle says United are keeping tabs on the exciting 18-year-old striker, who is also attracting interest from Stoke City and Liverpool.

The teenager is under contract with the Foxes until 2013, but the Championship outfit are already fearing the worst with the striker's performances beginning to catch the eye on the football scouting circuit, where he is the talk of the football talent-spotting regiment in the Premier League.

After being schooled in Milton Keynes he is still eligible to play for England and may end up representing England, Ghana or Germany.
