Newcastle United are seeking a buyer for Sylvain Marveaux.
The Telegraph says Marveaux, rarely been seen this season, earns £50,000 a week on Tyneside, which is likely to put off interested clubs, but he is open to offers.
Newcastle are unlikely to move for Montpellier playmaker Remy Cabella until they offload Marveaux.
