Newcastle Jets slash ticket prices

A-League club Newcastle Jets have become more fan-friendly by slashing ticket prices for the rest of the season. Since being taken over by mining and racing magnate Nathan Tinkler, the Hunter Valley outfit have put into place some strong off-field plans to get Newcastle football back to what it once was culminating in cheap family ticket prices.

For the remaining 11 home games, family tickets can be bought for just $100, which means it is just under $10 a game for families to come to EnergyAustralia Stadium to watch the Jets.

This is just another step forward for the club, who yesterday announced that CEO John Tsatsimas had signed on and that former Cronulla Sharks CEO Richard Fisk had joined in a corporate membership role.

Newcastle are away against the Brisbane Roar this weekend but return to EnergyAustralia for the Wednesday, October 27 clash with North Queensland Fury.
