New Newcastle Jets owner Nathan Tinkler will open the gates for kids under the age of 15 to enter EnergyAustralia Stadium free of charge for tomorrow's clash with Melbourne Victory.
The mining and racing magnate took over the club from Con Constantine this week and has immediately offered a gesture to the Newcastle community by allowing kids in for free.
A club spokesman confirmed Tinkler's generosity: "[Mr Tinkler] wants to demonstrate to the supporters here and to Newcastle that this is a community club."
The match between the Jets and the Victory kicks of tomorrow, Saturday September 25, at 7:30pm.
