Newcastle Jets goalkeeper Mark Birighitti will hold talks with German club Bayer Leverkusen.
au.fourfourtwo.com has reported that the 22-year old gloveman flew to Germany on Sunday to meet with key representatives of Leverkusen who are currently placed fourth on the Bundesliga table.
Birighitti, who was involved in a training ground bust-up with Jets teammate Taylor Regan recently, will speak with die Werkself this week before returning to Australia on the weekend.
The former Adelaide United keeper has made 23 A-League appearances this season for a total of 45 since joining the Jets in 2012.
