The 22-year old has joined the Jets on a two-year deal from the North Queensland Fury and Tsatsimas sees him as a great addition to the playing squad.
"Jeremy is obviously a very talented young player and we're delighted to have him join us from next season," he said.
"The coaching staff certainly believes that he brings a sense of energy and enthusiasm to the pitch which complements the football style and philosophy implemented by Branko Culina and his staff."
Tsatsimas added that the Jets were looking to now add strength to their list that have done well to retain and said that Brockie is the perfect fit for what they are looking for.
"It's been widely documented that our player retention drive was a successful one, and with the vast majority of the squad from our last campaign having committed their future to the club, the focus has somewhat shifted to bringing in quality players to enhance that established playing roster," he added.
"Certainly Jeremy fits that bill and we look forward to having him join us in Newcastle once the squad resumes training in May."
