Newcastle Jets executive chairman Ken Edwards expects November's exhibition match with MLS high-flyers LA Galaxy.
The A-League club take on the red hot Galaxy, who are just a win away from claiming this season's minor premiership (MLS Supporters' Shield), on Saturday, November 27 at EnergyAustralia Stadium and there is plenty of confidence of filling the 26,000-capacity venue (which will be upgraded to 33,000 before next year).
"We will be making sure families and young footballers have the opportunity to be exposed to this once in a lifetime chance to see one of the world's premier footballers in action," said Edwards.
"Tickets will go on sale in a staged manner, with our original and very loyal Season ticket holders and Members the first to be able to secure their seats. This will be followed by new family season ticket holders who have joined following our great ticketing offers and then the general public.
"We encourage people interested in tickets or corporate hospitality to register their interest via the Jets website - http://www.newcastlejets.com.au/ .
"This is such an exciting time for the Jets and the football family, we can't wait to roll out our next stage," he concluded.
