Newcastle Jets have agreed the sale of midfielder James Holland to AZ Alkmaar. Holland will not be risked for the Jets trip to Wellington Phoenix.
The Jets are waiting for paperwork to be finalised for his transfer to Dutch club AZ Alkmaar and do not want to jeopardise the move.
"From what I understand, AZ want him there by January 5," coach Gary van Egmond said.
