Newcastle Jets chief Tsatsimas set to stay

Newcastle Jets keep going from strength to strength off the field with news that CEO John Tsatsimas has signed on.

Following the capture of mining and racing magnate Nathan Tinkler as owner, the Jets have gone about their business off the pitch and are now boosted by the fact Tsatsimas has agreed to remain in his role.

"It is with great pleasure that the club announces that CEO, John Tsatsimas has agreed to stay with the club," said executive chairman Ken Edwards.

"John has a deep understanding of football and the Jets, and is a strong advocate for the new football structure and community focus put in place to assist coach Branko Culina and the players."

Along with Tsatsimas, the club has welcomed former Cronulla Sharks CEO Richard Fisk who has stepped into the freshly-created Director Membership and Corporate role.

"I am thrilled to be a part of a major rebuild of a national brand as significant as the Jets. To have the opportunity to work with such professionals as Ken, John and Branko will be exciting," Fisk said.
