The Newcastle Jets and Football Federation Australia are continuing to work on a solution to keep the embattled club afloat.
The Hunter Valley-based A-League club is facing an uncertain future as owner Con Constantine battles financial problems and after further talks were held yesterday, FFA CEO Ben Buckley said a decision had not yet been made on what will come for the Jets.
"We were presented with a plan on how the club hoped to move forward and we committed to consider that proposal over the next 24 or 48 hours," said Buckley.
"As talks are continuing I would like to assure fans and players that Newcastle Jets games on Wednesday night and Saturday night will go ahead as planned.
"These are complicated and difficult issues to work through and I urge all stakeholders to be patient as we strive for the best outcome for all."
