Newcastle United expect to close a deal for QPR striker Loic Remy today.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle hope to sign Remy from QPR on Monday in a £2m loan deal.

Kinnear said: "We're very very close to agreeing that (Remy). Maybe Monday or Tuesday we'll be in a position to say yea or nay."
