Newcastle United hope to wrap up the signing of Lille midfielder Yohan Cabaye today.
The Sun says Cabaye is on the brink of sealing a £4.3million switch from French champions Lille to Newcastle.
The France midfielder is due on Tyneside today for a medical ahead of signing a five-year, £30,000-a-week deal.
Cabaye, 25, helped Lille to the French domestic double last season and is set to play a major role in Toon boss Alan Pardew's plans for the new campaign.
